About Ironclad Restoration

We are a water damage restoration crew based in Union City. This is how we work and what you can expect when we show up.

Who we are

Ironclad Restoration is a water damage crew with an office at 4400-4405 Mall Blvd in Union City. We take calls for burst pipes, storm water, sewage backups, mold and the leaks that sneak behind walls.

Our work is plain: remove the water, dry the structure, and write down what we found. We do not do the rebuild. When the building is dry and the paperwork is done, you hand the next step to your contractor.

How we work

  • We tell you what we see before we start, and we show you the readings.
  • We do not tear out what can be dried. If it can stay, it stays.
  • We use moisture meters and thermal cameras, not guesses.
  • We explain the equipment, the schedule and the daily check-ins.
  • We keep photos and logs for your insurance claim.

What is on the truck

Submersible pumps and wand extractors for standing water. Air movers and refrigerant and desiccant dehumidifiers for drying. Moisture meters, thermal cameras, HEPA air scrubbers and containment sheeting for mold and sewage jobs. Respirators, gloves and coveralls for the people doing the work.

Where we work

We serve Union City and nearby South Fulton communities, along I-85, US-29 and SR-138, and out toward the Hartsfield-Jackson airport corridor. That covers single-family homes, rentals, apartment communities, small businesses and large commercial buildings.

What a typical job looks like

A call comes in, and we ask where the water is, where it came from and whether it is still running. A crew goes out, checks for safety hazards, and gets the water moving out of the building. After that comes the slower part: drying. A tech comes back each day with a meter, moves equipment, and tells you where things stand.

When the readings say dry, we pull the equipment and hand you the photos, logs and scope. If your insurer wants a call, we are glad to make it with your permission.

Homes, rentals and businesses

Most calls are houses, townhomes and apartments. We also work in offices, retail spaces and warehouses along the commercial corridors. The same steps apply, but a business needs a plan for staying open and a landlord needs paperwork for tenants, so we adjust the job to fit.

Office hours and the emergency line

The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The emergency line is available 24/7, so a pipe that bursts on a Sunday night still gets an answer.
